some of us went back to nanyang

(priceless expression - surprise surprise ><)

We went out after t'day celebrations. as you might have guessed/ later realised the facebook note failed since I tagged people only on Sunday :X (not to mentioned the connection messed up and hence I reached the supposed tag limit after tagging just a few people).

We sorta crashed 李老师's chinese lesson then went to the giant steps to chat.
thereafter we went to 日本村 for 99 cents sushi :D

WA can you believe it? it's only been 2 and a half years and it seems like ages since we last met. I was reading my autograph books (hahaha the craze XD) and almost all of you said that we have to keep in touch but i haven't even seen some of you since we left nanyang pri!!!

Dear all,
It has been 3 years since we graduated from Nanyang Primary. It certainly feels rather nostalgic when you go up the spiral staircase, take the lift up to the 5th floor and peer into the classroom: everything feels the same. Playing catching along the walkways, being devoted to a certain water cooler because it provides water is supposedly colder, folding paper cranes together, mugging for the final days before PSLE... (the canteen too, except that now there's a vegetarian stall, haha)
Spending 2 years together as a class means a lot to me, I guess you'd probably feel the same too. Nevertheless, going to upper sec is yet another transition: when we are all preparing to take on marginally important roles in co-curricular activities, yet coping with a heavier academic workload, it would seem really stressful at times. Of course, hopefully all of us would adapt to the new environment in time to come, and excel in it.
A few changes in 2008: additional class gatherings will not be planned. With prior experience, it is only a common sight that all of our schedules are absurdly packed, with little time for ourselves, let alone having time out for additional socialisation. Thus, we would only meet during prescribed 'half days', so try to make your way back to nyps whenever possible since there aren't many opportunities for us to meet up. Yup, so I guess we should treasure it =)
With 1 hour and 34 minutes before the Chinese New Year, I wish you all the best in the year ahead.

Ms Chan didn't ‘欺骗你的感情’. It was a pity that you missed her today, but nevertheless, there will be chances in future. In fact, Ms Chan would be back when were in J2, haha. You should have attended the Hwa Chong Council Investiture =P

To Rachel and Zhen Ling:
Please take a break in the CNY holidays and relax. Life isn't all about work, lol. It was quite surprising that you had to attend a meeting after CNY celebrations, haha. Jiayou for 2008, please don't overwork yourselves xD

hey everyone!
okay, so here are the details again.
meeting: vivo city, ben and jerry's
time of meeting: 1pm
activities for the day: i think we can start off with lunch at subway, and then move on to the sights and sounds of sentosa, constituting of things like the luge, chairlift, cable car, and the beach! we could also go cycling. (i think the rest of sentosa is kinda boring :P bbq is off, because it might be a little difficult to find a bbq spot and to bring all the raw food over there)
recommended attire: shorts, tee, slippers
recommended amount to bring: $30++ i think.
whoever is planning on sleeping over there please bring tents of sorts or bring enough money to rent a hut there. sleeping bags yeah.

okay, i need to gather up an OT for the class gathering. :D i dunno, somehow I'm in charge. like. HUH. anyway, please? so far, THIS is the organising team:
1. vicki
2. zhen ling (who might not even be able to make it and wants me to call her only if i manage to get 4 people in the OT)
anyway, i've come up with a few suggestions for the gathering. and, you know, since it's been like 2 years since 05 and we manage to have gatherings at least annually so, you know, we're closer than the other 05 classes. i thought we could celebrate a bit. :D so let's spend the day by the beach. :D getting tan and playing in the sun, getting fried by the UV rays? :D how's the following suggestions sound? VOTE ON THE TAGBOARD!
1. spend the day by the beach and going through sentosa/ vivo, cycling and rollerblading then staying in a chalet/ camping at sentosa.
2. spend the day by the beach and BBQing and cycling and rollerblading, then camping at east coast.
they're pretty similar, i know. heh. or we could go

I'm sure that all of us are busy in one way or another.
Well, I guess we could attempt to take some time off for random stuff; (Han Jie should know what I mean: Jun Wei too for that matter).
As usual, hopefully people will turn up =/

Thus, with my poor memory and inferential skills, I shall assume that Teachers' Day is on 31st of August:
Date: 31st of August, Friday
Time: 10.30am;
(in 2006, it ended at approx. 11am. In 2005, it ended at 10.45am+. In other to avoid the pandemonium from the students and in order to catch teachers, 10.30am should be safe.)
Activities: N/A; impromptu; non-kahhow-suggested
Either ways, could anyone be kind enough to get an application from the NYPS general office? It's a new regulation; we need to make 'appointments'. Unfortunately, NYPS may be as deviate as part of its usual 'uniqueness' and have the celebrations on Monday. Thus, I'd probably make a trip down beforehand, or perhaps anyone else would be kind enough to do so.

Dear all,
I've basically done up a rough guideline for the gathering:
Mid year gathering details
Date: 18th June (4th week of June hols, Monday)
Time: 12pm to 7pm
Venue：Meet at at NYPS, outside Gate A
Activities: Settle lunch (just get breakfast before hand), watch a movie, go bowling, go East Coast to ride bicycles +ＢＢＱ for dinner.

I'll send an invitation to the teachers once everything is settled, so respond if you can't make it. I'll also sms and email you guys once I have the necessary information.
For now, if you find any flaws in the programme proposal, please point them out. Also, state whether you can make it for the gathering by replying my email (will be sent out in around 30mins), on the tagboard or smsing me personally.
Let's hope this wouldn't be as screwed up as the past gatherings, and hopefully we can have perfect attendance =p
Oh yes, for the BBQ, we need to meet up before the actual gathering to prepare the food (marination, etc), so if you are willing to volunteer, please inform me.

Well, since there isn't anything reasonably exciting/ interesting we could do and many of us run a tight schedule in the June hols, I guess we could just scrap the gathering altogether. Nonetheless, we could meet up on the 30th June for Nanyang funFEST.

I doubt many of you guys know my school well and you guys have been under stress from school. Well, my school is hosting a fund raising carnival on the 21st. Which is next next saturday. 10am to 5pm. Its going to be hell lot of fun! There's going to be a wide variety of food and beverages! Even SAKAE SUSHI! I'm not kidding! There would deifinetly be a haunted house! So please do come down and support, I might be dressed up as a ghost!
My school (Clementi Town Secondary School) is located at 121 Queensway, the holding location.

It is super near Commonwealth MRT Station so is super convenient! You can take a bus here too, but I'm not sure about the bus services. We can have a class gathering! Well you guys can ask your schoolmates along too! Its going to be super duper fun! Please give your fullest support! Don't give excuses like you have something on. Come on, its from 10am to 5pm. CNY Class Gathering

Hi!
I'm missing all of you guys and it has been a long time since we last had a class gathering. So obviously we shall have a class gathering/CNY celebration.
Date: 16 Feb
Time: Yet to be confirmed
Venue: NYPS
Most of the school probably would have their CNY celebration on this day so it should be a half day so we probably could have lunch together or something. We'll meet at NYPS before making any further plans. As all you guys know from previous experiences, our pre-plannings are never a success. Haha. So try your best to shuffle your schedule and let's hope at least 50% of the people turn up. Email me here or here to tell me if your coming or not
P/S: Remember to bring enough cash cause you don't wanna end up borrowing cash from others and end up not having a chance to return it. You'll never know when is the next time we'll be meeting up again.

Activities Clarification

Dear All,
Kah How here. Now, questioning the feasibility of hide-n-seek in Vivo City. The only reason why the idea popped out in the first place was because "hide-n-seek" would only be fun in a big area instead of a small, enclosed area. Yes, such a huge area in Vivo city definitely means pratical impossibility to find the other party. Thus, rules and regulations would then restrict the game.
Suggested rules (ignore stuff in brackets):
1) No hiding in toilets so that the males can't find females and vice versa. (Ysabel at risk)
2) Do not hide in shops so that it does not scare away customers and nyps6h05 will be blacked mark
3) Stay on the first floor?
4) Don't invade carparks (we don't want anyone to get in trouble so that there wouldn't be a roast chicken or a bra to be held responsible for any loss)
5) Don't scream or shout (in case you portray yourself as a lunatic or madman/women)
6) You are not allowed to change your position more than once
That should be it. We could choose Vivo city or Suntec City since it would be much easier to say like... erm... Everyone stay in Tower 1 or something. Administrators would walk around to keep track, we don't want anyone to get lost.
Just returned from camp... sleeping too often.

Ok, moving on. EOYA basically means End of Year Activity in which i believe most of you know. In order to aid the preparation work, we need you guys and gals to give state whether your exams have ended, or if you are going on a holiday and state the dates in which you aren't free. We hope you people have a fruitful "holiday" enjoying your break from the exams! (in which most of you are enjoying now. For those who haven't, good luck and study hard =p)
Since I am pretty much loaded with commitments and such, I may not be able to update the details, so basically I need people to help me in these areas:
1) Record the dates that cannot be taken and the people who are involved in what activity (keep this updated in the next post so everything looks neater)
2) Grab a pen and paper and brainstorm for what activities you would like to have or expect to have in the year end gathering. (leave it in the next post too, then we can vote/sort out the stuff soon, hehe, soon XD)
If people have some sort of a holiday during school days of Nanyang Primary, we shall launch a surprise attack on the teachers, heh. Maybe you can notify us on that and we shall attack together =p

Class gathering is on 8th of August, 10am - 6pm. (Those with Cross Country/Track-and-Field, tell me what time it ends so that we can all go together).
Here are the events that are "suggested/ planned" by 2 fellow classmates -- I shun name them so that if you dislike it, I will be dead mastermind.
-K-Box. I have never been there so I do not know how it is like. There should be one at Toa Payoh HDB hub so I will confirm venues when I call you all up later perhaps about 3pm. Tell me the cost and we will split if we decide to have this on.
- Movies -- Pirates of the Carribiean, the dead man's chest or whatever you would want to watch.
- Arcade. (no comments since the last time I played 1 was 4years ago)

Hi people,

It has been quite a while since I posted. Ok, tomorrow is the stupid History test but I guess I studied enough so it would be okay... Getting to the point, if there were to be a gathering on 8th of August 1pm to 6pm, who can/cannot make it?
In Term 3, there are 4 "off days" in which most of us *should* be free. 1) National Day celebration. 2) Teacher's day 3) Ex-pupils day. Try to keep these days free, and most likely events will take place on these days. 4) Founder's day
*NOTE: not all of these days will have events happening. We are busy people. Try to cancel other stuff -- such events do not happen TOO often.
If majority can go then I will keep that day free too -- i.e no CCAs, no council, no commitments. Reply ASAP so there can finally be something on.
-Details/ activities will be confirmed when the day in which majority can go is confirmed.
-Spread the news to people who does not know there is a class blog/ people who are not notified.

To NYGH people
Do you guys know who is Michelle and Yu Ann? They have been a problem concerning them with my sec 1 class... zzz. Need to know more about them or else my position of class chairman will die out.

Hey, guys!! OK, updates to all who didn't made it to the gathering today. It was kinda screwed at the begining but at the end it was a success. Yeah!!! Oya!! The "funnest" part of the gathering was the visits to the.....TOILETS!!! So cool right. Haha. Everyone kept going to every toilet we saw. And Yikai was being perverted as usual. He was like peeping at the other guys. Haha. Anyways, before that..we went to orchard and play at the arcarde (Mr Lee treated us with 4 tokens eack..so generous of him..haha..thnx..) and then we went to take neoprints (Mr Lee paid for us again..Haha..thnx again..) Everyone had to squeeze into the machine. But it turned out ok, haha. Yahoo! After that Mr Lee had to leave, then Ms Chan came. And we ate Burger King. Then we were like just wondering around doing nothing. So we decided to go to Marina to bowl. Haha. Then most of them went bowling. But I kinda didn't cause I didn't know how to so I played at the arcade again. Haha. Bleh. Going off now..Bye guys..

n rgdin the chalet thingy, im sure most parents wont allw u ppl to sleepover n stuff but u can just come for the bbq u noe. so i suggest tt all those who want to go shld chip in to pay the money for the chalet while the ppl who are sleeping over shld pay extra. so if u still want the bbq, PLS RSVP ZHENLING/RACHEL ASAP!!!

Coz got project due in the 1st day of school.
